yeah, it would be great

While buildables should have their values tweaked when it comes to damage towards them with bullets, explosions, vehicles and hammers, please dont remove manually unbuilding them

#

Maybe slow it down a tiny bit, but dont outright remove it

if there were effective alternatives for destroying buildables, it would be fine to do this.

C4s doing like 0 damage to buildables:

Obligatory “this would be used to troll and trap people not using the listed gadgets” comment

#

Add a sound for bulding and unbuding sure, outright removal will just lead to problems

#

And to those saying “it wouldn’t” go watch the times phycat (including me at the time) used to ammo crate the tunnel enterances as a strategy to stop enemy pushes. Very overpowered is what I’d argue it was (and still is).

#

You can pretty much completely block any of these small indestructable entraces

#

Ive learned it was possible on old district for example

#

And frugis is frugis

slender badger
#

Its possible on all maps, just best utilized where there’s small spaces

vast herald
#

Exactly

slender badger
#

So yes in theory you could troll the waki bridge with this. Imagine an enemy trying to break that without the "right gear" as a support, for example.

As if waki bridge isnt hell already

How often do you see interesting and not idiotic use of building mechanics (I only saw sniper camps and meat outposts that throw grenades at each other)? Maybe it's worth removing it completely?

#

This is just another unfinished mechanic that will remain as it is

jade cliff
#

removing it would make some maps even flatter than they already are

lone anvil
#

(including anti sniper sight line sandbags)

#

Main thing is it takes a deal of time to make, and far less to destroy I find (C4 pretty much destroys any wire I put down, and mix in teammates & enemies like to decon anything they found inconvenient to mantle over it seems when I last played)

At best, a rework is needed. But guys, you know that its probability is microscopically small

#

Really we just need buildables to be damaged properly and we good

#

And like haro said, removing it will straight up make flat maps worse

#

Hell id argue removing buildables from BBR would legitimately make the majority of modes straight up worse

jade cliff
#

building itself is a good and fun mechanic

vast herald
#

It is, especially as support

#

I do also need to point out rq that maps straight up arent really designed without buildables in mind, at least with larger game modes

#

Can you imagine 127v127 namak or waki without a single buildable anywhere

having no animation for building and destroying is goofy as hell

vast herald
#

Having no animation for a lot of things is goofy

#

Why yes i can totally pick up my dropped mag or restock on various supplies with my third arm while i bandage myself or reload my mg

Doubt it

#

I mean animations for something like that shouldnt be THAT gamebreaking

#

Nor resource intensive for that matter

vast herald
#

I think that might just be you man

#

I mean sure, performance on low end pcs on maps like eduardovo and valley is shit (fixed next update, there is a bug or something causing it)

#

Otherwise there are like, zero problems

#

Game runs fine on my end

#

As for next update it will be a good question since shadows will be forced on

#

Otherwise most of the other stuff shouldnt cause an issue (besides they have done other performance improving stuff as well)

#

Again, player animations usually arent performance intensive, especially considering that this game has roblox graphics

#

And overall quite simple animations

#

I cant imagine a building/destroying animation being so large in file size and resource intensive that the game just dies

#

(I mean hell battlebit rn is like 2-3 GB in size lmao)

#

(For other references, Deep rock Galactic and Valheim are of similar sizes and have at times far more complex animations)

#

...ive never heard someones game crashing because it they played a vehicle map

#

Like

#

Ever

#

Only times my game crashed was on the maps previously listed having performance problems on lower end pcs (even then it doesnt always happen)
