#Weapon distance from camera

what does this mean?
like fov?
viewmodel fov?
The distance at which soldiers in battlebit hold their wepaon to their face is like RIGHT THERE. When you ads your "face" is almost flush with the sight compared to most games that keep some distance between the optic and your theoretical face
oh that makes sense
don't think that would be a good thing really. it seems like it would just make scopes worse, or way better if borught closer
it wouldnt affect aimed in
it would just be when aimed out
I think its already in-game
pressing alt distances your weapon from the camera
Thats freelook
It isnt remotely the same
The freelook is barely used while aiming in battlebit
The distance camera will also become useless like the freelook
the suggestion isnt for a "distance camera", it is to be able to set the FOV of the weapon viewmodel when not aimed in. it would be passive and visible at all times except when aiming. then it would return to normal fov.
