First of all, I'd like to thank Oki for another feature (⁠#dev-wip message⁠), much needed BBClown .

But seriously, we need an update and you need a project manager, which will determine the new features for the update and the release date. If for the new update is made only 60-80% of the planned features - it is ready to release it on time.

Also, the absence of a specific deadline leads to the feeling that there's a time to finish the old features and implement new ones. As a result, the whole project is in an endless limbo where no one knows what an update should look like and every second someone comes up with something new. However the time is passing quickly...

fr, like all they had to do was rework the sounds, polish some animations, tweak the stats of the weapons and some other qol stuff and fixing bugs, who tf asked about demo videos on how gadget works for example??? XD

after 6 meats who even cares about new features, I barely remember what was shown in February and early spring on the developers blog. It's all meaningless until the update release. Like with stocks - they're only worth their money once they're sold, before that they're just an economic bubble.

well, building wasnt that obvious and wasnt really well put out how to use it etc, so that i could understand but gadgets idk, they are in your inventory u always see them when u respawn, just a matter of taking one single glance at it lol, while building is a lot more complex cuz its based on points etc

These** corp managers**, who are so much hated among the players, are actually quite important.

Without them, Cyberpunk 2077 would never have come out, and I mean never. Have you seen how much CDPR developers promised?! That after many years, the game came out buggy, which then took another 2 years to fix. In the end, in terms of detail of the world Cyberpunk 2077 is many times worse than GTA San Andreas. However, the game came out and I was able to play it. Otherwise, who knew how long it would have taken....

The same thing with a series of games S.T.A.L.K.E.R. there is also a team of developers have promised an incredibly realistic and living world with monsters and NPCs. However, they could not finish it until they got a THQ manager from another country, who cut the project. There was even a meme that it was not S.T.A.L.K.E.R., but W.A.I.T.E.R.. (in Ukraine and Russia). In the end, the game was released and is very popular in Eastern Europe. The new S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, which will be released in September, is one of the most wished in the Steam right now.

That's what I'm talking about. they can harm games often, but without them the game may not even come out at all - falling into a production hell.

as well as big features like sounds and UI - why do they need to be in one update? split them into two, add a couple other medium and small things and you have two solid updates - one now, another later soon.

If they release so many features in the upcoming update, how much time will it take to gather ideas for the next update to make it at least mid? And again, it will start with "let's do this, then that" - and again no one knows when the next update will be.

When I started playing Battlebit I was worried that maybe Epic would buy it and shit on the game. Apparently there's no need to do that when the developers themselves do that. Just release the update, goddamit. This isn't Cyberpunk 2077. lol
