Keep same spacing between elements the same
Keep the same amount of detail throughout every icon
Its not just simplifying icons, is maintain a style on each element on the UI, so is a cohesive interface
Also in reduction is more legible
the spacing is an artistic choice i feel like and no the reduction is not more legible imo
I wouldn´t say artistic, because there´s nothing artistic in the space between 2 objects.
Is an optical please, so the eye recognize more efficiently an object. Like Kerning on lettering.
and for the reading in reduction:
For example, the space of the little lines on the Support class on the actual version is gone in reduction.
let me just say, the recon icon is just worse, assault and medic look worse and support and engi also don't really look good

Bud, Im just trying to help, in the media channel people seems to like the change, if u disagree on change is ok, maybe ur visual culture is not the same, or u don't like changes. IDK

Simplifying logo
yup i don't like it because it's just a downgrade in detail
I like
"Current" sniper logo is a helicopter 
a logo that you never see big on screen
Middle for rotor axel, 4 blades and outer lines to represent spinning 
Engineer icon kinda there and there, since wrenches are always represented at an angle
I dont get why "current" one has that FAT part to it
I just gonna keep posting my fixes if u guys may like it or not its ur opinion. If u have doubts, just take a look to others games UI's
the engineer is the only one I don't like

But imo there isnt that much personality in the overwhelmingly dark UI that it is right now
Mostly refering to the deploy, loadout and character menu but you get the idea

so if the map deploy changed, menus and HUD are next, etc
They have mentioned just a visual overhaul of the hud, nothing on the main menu that we know of

The direct top down view is borrowed from BF4 and earlier

I would suggest to avoid curves on Assault class since that kind of curve don´t show on the others icons. To keep the same style

the curve makes it more like an echelon which works for assault.

i like ur recon icon, the support I think you should stick with the original icon and just move the bottom lines down more to show space, yours are to pointy. I also think the original engineer icon looks better over all

I would say the only thing that looks a bit wrong is the wrench
But otherwise, looks great imo
I quite like the octagon shape of the interior of the wrench, feels more engineery.

think that last iteration the engineer icon is heading in the right direction, still think the support should stick to the original shape and just move the bottoms of the icon down to show a little spacing. The recon icon is loads better than the original :).

AutoHotKey is blocked in EAC, and may lead to you being banned.
This is used for creating reduced recoil or no recoil scripts, which would give the user a huge unfair advantage.

simplified the sniper for no reason (the middle looks too empty)
the engineer wrench is at an odd angle
bullets are too skinny (they don't fit the class and the icon is too small because of it)
the medic is almost better (the division is too thick seperating the left and right side)
and the assault was it called? on the left is just fine right now
I´ll explain why the changes soon, I'm finishing the deploy UI.
Since some of u guys don't see why an Icon has to be simple and easy to recognize and have consistency in the negative space.
Btw, my designs are not definitive, I'm not the best designer. I just like the game and I saw the opportunity to help.
cool concept but i have some suggestions or ideas:
- having the multiplayer, challenges or other buttons on the left is cool i like that idea but the button layout in general looks old
- it would also be nice to have like the party/friends just there, no need to hide it on the right side in the menu or in different page
- and also the icons needs some work or touch up other than that cool concept idea. it simple but i think it needs some more stuff added but not too much otherwise new players can get overwhelmed by the amount of information on the screen
