#Interactive/unique map features

The idea is that maps should have features that are unique to one or a small amount of maps. My idea of this is to maybe have a map that has a large underground area with vents that people can crawl through. The vents will partially be in walls but sometimes extend into areas where enemies can be, every so often a sound queue will play when an enemy is in the vents, this will allow enemies to wallbang(shoot through the wall of the vent dealing less damage than normal) countering it. This allows interesting flank routes. Unique features like this would incentivize people to not pick the same couple maps over again.

For interactive map features I was thinking either being able to destroy a certain thing or interacting with say a button, this will then cause a certain event to occur. This event can be countered by enemies or waited out. After the event is destroyed or finishes a universal cooldown will happen before you can do the event again as a balancing method. Some ideas I thought would be cool is the ability to blow up certain roof tiles in say the frugis metro that will cause rocks to fall down blocking the path forcing the enemy to wait out the rocks to despawn, break the rocks through dealing high amounts of explosive damage to them, or finding a different route. These interactive features can divert the course of gameplay for a snippet of the map allowing for a sort of freshness to the map.

the crazy thing is that I also thought about something similar to this but then there is the issue of server load

If server performance is an issue they might have to limit features with heavy performance impact to smaller sized servers
