  1. Either enable (limited) 3rd person view or nerf RPG dmg. Or add more repair stations on the map.

  2. Give infantry that sit inside shooting ports. So that anyone other than the driver can actually participate in the vehicle battles. If u want anyone to use vehicles at all.

  3. Separate driver and gunner roles. Drivers can only drive the APCs and maybe control a MG. Gunners can only control the main cannon without driving the vehicle.

  4. Give tank commanders a MG FFS. Nobody is playing tank commanders atm.

  5. Give BTR/tanks more MGs so vehicles can defend themselves. There is only 1 MG per vehicles atm. We need MORE! like 3 MGs per APC! Situation right now is like 100 infantry men are shooting RPGs at u while u can only fight back with 1 single pathetic MG. No grenade launcher no missiles no spaced armor whatsoever.

Oh and maybe proper Thermal optics/night visions for APC and Humvee 7M?

I personally played 1500 hrs of RS2 Vietnam, hundreds of hours of Insurgency/Sandstorm and Squad and Hell Let Loose and Battlefields/COD, I think i know how ''tactical' or ''arcade'' games should feel like.

Infantry:

  1. Squad Leads have to set up spawn points so that this game is not a walking simulator. Maybe allow the entire team to spawn on APCs.

  2. Need some fire support options. So maybe players can call something like V-1 rockets strike as in BF or epic arty strikes! Or maybe AC-130!

  3. add some fixed weapons maybe? AT guns? Recoiless rifles? like we have in Enlisted?

  4. Make TTK longer so gameplay is more friendly to causal players.

  5. We need something like Steam workshop and mods

  6. Too much recoils for AR. I cant shoot for shit.

  7. Takes too long to unlock all weapons.

  8. get rid of those annoying friendly blue markers off my screen pls.

I happen to like the first person only view, it'd be nice to have third person be able to be turned on through the apI so server owners can experiment with it.

Rear view mirrors would be nice to avoid getting stuck on a pebble when backing up

  1. More repair stations would be nice. Seems like barely any engineers repair, to the point that I suspect some aren't aware they can, and since there's not any way to force them to do it, the second best thing is letting vehicles get repairs another way.
  2. Not really a fan of this idea. If anything, I'd wanna remove the viewports so passengers get a more immersive internal view.
  3. Agree. APCs and tanks are mostly just solo vehicles rn, but it's worse with APCs Having a dedicated driver and gunner would also encourage more mobile tactics instead of camping.
  4. Having two CROWS seems a bit OP, so maybe being able to switch over to an MG mount similar to the Humvee's, extra firepower at the expense of exposing yourself?
  5. Again, having a lot of CROWS seems like it'd cause balance issues and encourage sniping, but could be balanced by having them be exposed mounts?
  6. Could see this working similar to the order request system, a squad leader is replaced if they don't place a beacon within X time of it being requested. The beacon is another tool that it seems like many players just aren't really aware of, so encouraging its use more would be welcome.
  7. Devs already said no planes, but an indirect fire option would be welcome, although I don't see how you'd balance it without either stepping into the BF3/4 issue of it being extremely OP, or just making it so tedious that nobody uses it.
  8. Again, going with BC2 experience, the TOWs there were popular and actually pretty useful, so adding them as buildable structures seems like it could be cool.
  9. The TTK seems good to me. Not milsim short, but also not CoD long.
  10. Maybe for visuals only? Otherwise that just be hellish to balance.

The rest I don't really have any comments on.

Rework is definitely needed. Or should you just remove the vehicles and not pretend to be "battlefield-like"

I agree Vehicle Play needs a major overhaul, but from what I have previously read I don't agree with the initial post at most points.

He made various points that needs their own threads instead of merging all into one, and some of them are questionable (the example I gave above) so yeah, it's understandable why people are against this

As for the others… SL setting relays being a requirement, for example Some modes don’t support it, and with the amount of squads being in play (especially in 127) the game would turn more so into “find the relay” than actually capping objectives and the like.

We shouldn’t discourage it, but making it forced will generally lead to questionable relay placements if people don’t wanna lose sl. The current way of keeping it is to mark an objective so most people do that
