Sorry but the new skins look terrible in my opinion. Even when they're not applying to the entire gun the colors still look bad overall. If I just want a tan/forest green/FDE it isn't possible to make look good in the new system. Of course there's probably technical issues with this since we can color attachments now, but with the current system all my guns are just black or gray.

The one that saddens me the most is the Glock 18, as having the top be a different color than the grip was my favorite part of the gun. I feel the UI was a huge step forward, but the actual skins were a massive step back

I'm just gonna leave that there, but be more specific.
My gripe with the skins is the brightness.
our old system had a lot of matte, dark, or "realistic" camo skins.
our new system feels like the white point was turned up to 11.
The first unlock skin used to be a nice dark green. the new first unlock feels like it glows in the dark.
I understand its personal preference, but the guns just dont feel like they fit in the game anymore. I never used to notice people's skins, but now i cant help but see the shining hot pink or neon orange, and it kinda puts me off the look of the game in general.
I absolutely love the UI and I greatly appreciate the work that Larry put into all of the choices we have for skins

I didn't suggest removing the system. I suggested a legacy skin tab in the new system because those skins were much higher quality.
