isnt this already a thing ? if not I would love that
yea there is a hit indicator but isnt that realistic
true, could be improved indeed, good suggestion
It's not realistic either way. 🗿
Because we don't have hit indicators IRL.
yea but you can feel where did you get shot right?
with the amount of adrenaline you get no i suppose
Maybe, but probably not right away. You may feel a slight sting, the pain kicks in later. etc.
Though you certainly won't know where you got shot from anyway.
You'll feel or see a certain part of your body being damaged, but you won't have an indicator pop up before your eyes.
Best you'd know would be "It probably didn't come from the other side", assuming the bullet didn't pierce through you entirely.
The problem with comparing this to an actual gunshot is that you have MUCH better audio awareness IRL. You can clearly hear the direction a single shot came from, and use context clues such as ricochet to identify the direction of fire. An actual firefight is still a cluster, and if there is lots of shit flying around you're gonna have a hard time identifying the direction a shot came from.
All that being said this is a videogame, and with shitty headphones and barely stereo audio, I want better hud indicators to figure out where in the hell I just got shot from.
That depends entirely on your environment.
If you have objects reflecting enough sound, there's no way in hell you can accurately tell.
Especially indoors.
Or in urban areas at all.
hit indicator REALISTIC XD
and no u do not know where the bullets are coming from IRL apart from the rough direction of the sound
did you see bf3 hit indicator?
from the sheer chaos in a battlebit match you will probly die before you see anybody
