Played a few matches on district.
And what we all enjoy when we play on District, Azagor, Construction, Salhan and smaller maps that its small for a reason, and old so they are some what more optimised than the new maps, because the new maps are just worst version of their former versions, due to being bloated with assets, not giving a heck about optimisation.
will add comparison between former and newer versions.

Old District:
+small
+Driveable roads that are not spammed with props
+well placed objectives
+realistically flat but with a bit of variety terrain.
+there is a huge objective in the center making it center based, but there are noteable objectives outside the center objective, so you can take all the flags outside of old charlie and bating the enemy out from charlie so you and your team can end their breakout and take charlie, which is perfect because its not just center based its still interesting outside of the center of the map.
+not bloated with assets
-Terrain, offroading can be a joke sometimes rocks can throw you doing horizontal flips.

New District:
-bigger then the former
-somewhat driveable roads, plus you can't do loops like in the former version.
-objectives felt all over the place.
-the terrain is all over the place bridges that launch you to space, narrow roads, not interesting roads.
adding water and rivers and sewers to the map made it feel like its not district, District was known that there were no need for sea vehicles, and complicating the map even more in terms of balancing the water to each team. Water does not suit District at all.
-the former charlie bunker were place to other places idk why.
-bloated with assets, mostly bushes and trees that you can shoot through giving no cover at all, like instead of bloating the map with assets that has no collision you could place actually sensible covers.
It really feels like a mash up from other maps without being center based, but being heavily bloated with props and unnecessary assets.
-Offroading is not an option.

District lost it's characteristics, while keeping its theme that is foggy and rainy.
Bigger is sometimes less.
More in value is less in quality. And this map have been reworked to bingo both of the aforementioned parameters, the map is bloated with assets, and bigger then it should be, just to add tanks(why?) and Helicopter(Why???) for no reason.

After playing more of the rework the map itself feels extremely confined especially when playing Rush for 32v32. I still stand by having more environments allowing destructive and giving players options to attack a point. The bomb sites are on opposite sides of the map and basically everyone has free rain to run around and just play tdm.

district is unfair for the americans as it is much easier for the rus to hold A compared to americans holding F, also you can kill American vehicles from spawn, but you cant do that to the rus

Forgive my english is not my first language.

I would like to call this “new reworked district” be a specific entirely new map but keep the “old district” at the same time. Maybe make it as district themed maps?

Now the “new district” is too big, and lost the central focus point — old C objective sit on the map of middle, making now the gaming flow seems separated into : A-C-E / B-D-F / B-D-C-E parts only

Such too empty and just randomly gunfights at random time random angles random places without any reasons to perform attacking / defending / flanking the frontline and objectives with teammates and enemies on an empty big bad map. Not even to mention vehicles

The old district is lots lots lots more better than the current reworked district. From one of the best map downgraded as becoming one of very poor gaming experience map unfortunately

When playing rush on this map sometimes after the attackers advance the whole map is in their territory so defenders have nowhere to fall back to
Goes back to normal after dying and before respawning
This occured both times I played rush on this map today

Dont know if its intentional, but you cannot shoot in the tunnels under C, you can build blocks and stand on them to shoot anyone that happens to drop down. if you build a concrete block parallel to the tunnel, unbuild once, stand on top of the block, build it back up, you will clip through the ceiling and be on the ground level. Fun way to contest C

CTF district is a pretty bad joke. U.S. side gets a wide open warehouse you can drive an ATV through and RU gets an underground bunker maze that's significantly easier to defend.

Ah, another blessed day watching my team get murdered the instant they walk out of the base, truly the highly interactive gameplay every FPS should strive for 😊

Bruh, just played old District, I can see why people dislike this. It plays nothing like the original one. What a shame.

The fights around C have been some of the most fun I've had in my entire time playing this game.

Was riding a vehicle, tried to cross the map faster by moving outside of it for a moment, dropped from the vehicle + got stuck. Without an out of bounds timer too.

if you spawn right at the moment mcom is destroyed as attacker in rush, you end up in a no-go zone in the water where you can't move

The district rework was one of the reasons I quit playing this game so much. I still look back on this game that had and may still have potential. The old District map was so much better, chaotic, and so much more fun to play. Even back during test server weekends it was so much fun and I always looked forward to playing it. It is a shame that it got replaced for something that doesn't even resemble the old District. The map is now trash and I avoid it like death
