So am I the only one upset about how WWII ended? I mean they built Hitler up to be the big bad and just when he is about to face justice, he goes and kills himself. Apologies if the video is a bit scuffed, turns out trying to record footage of two games at once is a bit of a pain. In both games what i am doing is jumping, and then letting go of all movement keys mid-air. I first demonstrate what happens when you do this in BBR, and then what happens when you do this in Battlefield 4. I feel this also demonstrates why i think this would be a good feature for more aggressive pushes.

As you can see, in BBR, when you do this, you kind of just stop dead where you are.

In BF4, when you do this, you retain the momentum from your jump, in the same direction you jumped in. This wouldn't interfere with air strafing, as that is also possible in BF4.

You would think so. But look at higher level BF4 gameplay. They use this method all of the time, and it works quite well when playing aggressively.

It's due to the way BF4 works, for some reason, if you're not holding any movement keys mid air, you will just keep going in the direction you jumped in, and do a little slide when you hit the ground. When you're holding movement keys mid air, the movement is a lot like BBR, you can strafe mid air and such.
