Trees block sniper sightlines, if they want to use them to hide then they have to get close to the edge of the treeline and therefore closer to the battle

And as far as APCs/tanks, they have no issues taking trees down

The trees aren't neccesarily closer to the battle, and trees are only good at blocking sightlines if the people being aimed at are actively hiding behind them

trees don't get run over by vehicles in this game

they are destructible but your ammo is limited

So? You decide which ones to take down which means you get to shape your own sightlines

Kodiak, Azagor, Wakistan have patches of trees that protect many sightlines from snipers by default, but with an APC you can blast through them and get access to very easy farms while being safe from retaliation

Yeah bc low ammo count and slow reloads. But if you have a buddy it instantly becomes much easier, they just spawn in as support or engi and C4/RPG anything that gets in your way
