I figured it could be an issue of using paper instead of fabric, i switched it - deleted previous filed and reinstalled my mods, now i'm getting a new crash message and it wont start at all
this is the full log from starting
hey there, looking at the log I see you installed a voice chat mod. These voice chat mods require some setup in the config regarding networking (IP and port need to be set). It seems like you didn't do this, so it fails to correctly attach to the network, which in turn causes a crash
What you need to is go to the "network" tab on the panel, then pick one of the rows of available ports there. Note down the IP and port. Then go to the config file of the voice chat mod, and on the line for IP enter the IP you noted down, and for port enter the port you noted down
so it'd be this section here: 199.115.73.129:1045?
You need to pick one from the list below. The top line is the minecraft server itself, which is already in use
pick one of the other ones that is not in use already
no not server properties. the config file for whatever voice chat mod you're using
server properties is like a config file as well, but that's for minecraft itself. In this case you need the config file for the voice chat mod
yes
yeah it's under server properties for it, sorry for the confusion
voicechat-server.properties, that indeed is a bit different
each mod names the files differently
The server's no longer crashing, I'll check if I can log onto it fine and let you know!!
Great! Hope that was all
I'm receiving this error now not sure if this is a server sided one or a modpack one
i can send the report file itself
It seems like the server is sending data to the client that it cannot understand. This often means there's some kind of mismatch between the client and the server
