Hello! I have had a server for quite some time now with Bisect. Me and my friends scraped up some money and the rule was that that money was it. Once it was gone, the server shut down. We have been playing for quite some time and used up about half of our budget. However, we are now looking to shut down the server for a little while because no one has been playing lately, with the hope that in a couple months when summer rolls around, we can buy the server again and transplant the files back in. Today, an auto-charge went through to my account(the admin hoster) and charged the entire rest of our budget. I am wondering if there is a way to get this money back. I am also wondering if data is stored even after cancellation. Will my account still be online even after the server is deleted? Will any backups or other data remain? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey there!
You can request a cancellation and refund within 24 hours of an automatic renewal. Just send in a support ticket and the support staff will get that processed for you!
When a server is canceled and terminated, Bisect will only retain the files for 12 days. Be sure to download any files and backups before you cancel it. You'll just need to reupload them again when you're ready to start playing.

An invoice was charged to my account on January 20th. It was due on February 3rd. Would it be possible to cancel, or alternatively would it be possible to downgrade my server from 8 gbs to 5 gbs?
You can definitely adjust the plan to a lower RAM package. The next invoice would reflect the lower payment. I'll link the instructions below.
You can also still cancel the server, putting in a cancelation now would automatically end it at the end of this billing period. However, it might be too late to request that refund if it's been a couple days now. Only the support staff can give you a definitive answer on that in the tickets.
