#Incorrect Server Region

I recently purchased a Minecraft server because the order page showed that Miami servers were available, and I confirmed that my ping to Miami was approximately 15–20 ms. I chose Bisect primarily because of the Miami server availability.

After purchase, my server was provisioned in Virginia instead. As a result, my ping is now close to 300 ms, which is far outside what I expected and need for this server’s purpose.

I understand that there may be a 72-hour restriction on location changes, but given that the server was purchased specifically under the expectation of Miami availability and low ping, is it possible to fix this? If I knew this would be the outcome I would have gone with a different service.

they can also get the location move sorted for you

Thanks, I had someone reply almost immediately saying the miami servers were just full, I replied back asking how soon I can get it swapped to Miami to see if I can get it done quickly enough

that might (somewhat) explain why you were put on a different location then. Website probably wasn't fully up to date with the lack of stock then

#

but I would still investigate what's wrong. Because only a few states over shouldn't result in a 250ms ping difference. I would still talk to staff to at least look into the latency difference if it's really noticable whilst playing

#

if it plays just fine without latency issues you can just wait I guess

unfortunately he just replied back stating it can't be moved in the near future so I'm just waiting on a response on how to process a refund. This is for a pretty big project I'm organizing and almost all the players are in south Florida. No harm no foul onto the next
