HIIII so I need help buying and setting up a Minecraft server in detail plssss im trying to play a mod pack on curse forge and no YouTube video explains

So I’m trying to figure out a good plan for me and my friends

I also need help with ADDING mods after I buy a server

So there’s gonna be like 5 of us

The recommended is 12gb but I’m not sure if we need that many

Again I’ve never set up a server

So you're using a modpack you made yourself, or one that is published?

It is or isn't in the list on the website?

It’s listed on the website , it’s all the mods 10 but I might add a couple different mods to it

I would take the website's recommendation, it's usually pretty accurate. If you do think that it's too high you can always start with less and just upgrade if you find out that you undershot.

And then yes, you have access to modify what is in the mods folder after it's set up.

Either the bot is still down or I forgot the command to show it... But there's a help article explaining how to upgrade or downgrade after the fact

I appreciate it , and as for downloading different mod packs is it pretty easy or

The entire menu from the website is also in the control panel.

And there is a help doc for uploading modpacks that aren't listed, published or self-created.
