  • Replace mod 'Fabric Loader' (fabricloader) 0.16.14 with version 0.17.0 or later.
    More details:
    - Mod 'Controlify' (controlify) 2.4.1+1.21.8-fabric requires version 0.17.0 or later of mod 'Fabric Loader' (fabricloader), but only the wrong version is present: 0.16.14!
    - Mod 'Easy Shulker Boxes' (easyshulkerboxes) 21.8.3 requires version 0.17.0 or later of mod 'Fabric Loader' (fabricloader), but only the wrong version is present: 0.16.14!
    - Mod 'Puzzles Lib' (puzzleslib) 21.8.6 requires version 0.17.0 or later of mod 'Fabric Loader' (fabricloader), but only the wrong version is present: 0.16.14!
    - Mod 'Forge Config API Port'

You can send support a message about fabric being updated but the panel doesn’t have it yet

#

I think you need to select custom jar under modloader on the left side

Alternatively you can upload it yourself as a custom jar option

We don't have an option for Fabric in the "Custom" section anymore. (versions higher than 1.20.1)

I'd suggest loading up any version of Fabric on the server, we'll use 0.16.14 in this example.

Delete the 0.16.14 jar file and the libraries folder.
Download the fabric installer from Fabric's website and run the installer.
Select "Server" at the top then pick the version you want.
Make a new folder to put the files into for easier navigation.
When it asks, choose to download the server jar.

Find these files in your computer and upload the jar files it gave you and the libraries folder to the server files.

Select the jar file name which should be something like "fabric-server-launch.jar" and put it in the "Server Jar File" section of the "Startup" tab on the left.

#

will try in a bit, thx

brittle jasper
#

delete these

#

@idle sierra when I click install, it gives me this

#

oh nvm i changed the directory to a new folder and it worked

#

this all looks correct

#

this still says this here though i dont know if it's supposed to

#

looks like its working

#

gave me a ton of errors that I think pertain to datapacks (despite the mentioned packs working correctly in game) but the server didnt crash so yay

#

going to try some mods

#

this is bizarre

#

none of the mods are loaded at all now
even the ones that were working before

#

and theres no mod loading isuses in the console

# brittle jasper

This is because you told it to run the minecraft server jar itself; so the modloader never initialized

brittle jasper
#

its all just stuff from a datapack i made

opaque harbor
#

Swap that to the fabric-server-launch.jar

brittle jasper
opaque harbor
#

Upload both

#

then use fabric-server-launch.jar

#

server.jar = Minecraft Vanilla
Fabric Server Launch = Modded

brittle jasper
#

oh okay

#

thats probably why it said "vanilla" on the f3 screen which i thought was odd

opaque harbor
#

Bingo!

brittle jasper
#

launching

#

okay, that worked
well it loaded the mods at least, which of course had an issue, but thats the standard stuff i know how to deal with

#

thanks

idle sierra

Great to hear,

If that lag becomes a problem, we can check it for you.
