Slow User Backup

Is anyone else experiencing slow manual backups of all files?

Normally the backups are quick, but my latest one, which is only negligebly larger than the previous backup has become super slow. Like, one percent per 4 minutes slow

are you talking about the bisect backups, or the backup that happens with some mod packs that include a backup mod?

or did you trigger a full world folder backup.

i really recommend a ticket for this as the ticket staff can see if there is a hardware issue going on. you don't want your world to be down because of an impending SSD failure that you didn't report becuase you want to see if someone else was experiencing it.

bisect doesn't backup the world folders normally which is why theirs is faster

and if you had a lot of exploration recently that can explain why yours is beign slower than normal

however, even if that was the case i would still open the ticket.

because hardware issues, nothing we can do about them on this side.

the backup system is designed to have no noticable impact on the servers themselves. If lots of servers are actively using the drive in a system, the backup will slow down
