With the whitelist off, have you been able to add the bedrock account to the server?
Also read that you need to have the bedrock account previously connected or attempted to connect before trying to whitelist

Unless the Geyser team changed it, use the Floodgate whitelist command to whitelist Bedrock players that have not yet connected. I think it's /fwhitelist?
