#Mod Issue with MC server.

it's best that the actual owner starts a ticket as the server is linked to his details, it'll speed up the time.
also if you have a latest log we can also help on discord if there's someone available to take a look. but seeing it's crashing on ram it might need an upgrade to have more ram allocated, which also the owner has to do
I have the log and I just red/skimmed though this seerver log i found
remove the listed mod for starters
the server didnt crash eairler and it's randomly having issues
the mod looks for a newer version then your running
which mod? it's telling me the minecraft server is not in the right version
- mod bisecthosting requires minecraft 1.21.2 or newer, your running 1.21.1
Currently updating the server to 1.21.2 and readding all the mods
Half of the mods wont work now
you didn't have to update the server, just remove the mod as it's only for the stats on the panel IIRC unless they added other features
I don't understand what you mean. Bisect couldn't add it's own mod to the server for webhosting
they do, it's only to feature data on the panel though to list cpu/ram usage of your instance
But it's not adding the mod becuase the server isn't in 1.21.1
the logs say i need to have 1.21.1 so that should fix the issue?
yes, just make sure the mod bisecthosting is removed before you try to start the server as it'll require 1.21.2 instead of 1.21.1
it's just their mod that's crashing it in your latest log you had, and they might have one for lower but you'd have to select it if that's possible but your server will work without as it's just a panel feature
There's a mod that lets the control panel show all the extra data in the charts.
The mod is specific to various versions of Minecraft.
Somehow, the version of the mod for Minecraft 1.21.2 got installed, but your server is running 1.21.1.
So all that happened is someone accidentally clicked the top one instead of the second one.
Then that was me. I thought the plugin was for the website
Deleting the mod from the mods folder was all that was necessary to undo it.
It is, but you have to click the right one for whatever modpack you're running.
And you don't have to have it installed.
It just enables the extra charts.
ok
So i completly deleted the old instince for a new Neoforge instance on 1.21.1 to see if this will work. We need this modpack to be in 1.21.1 so im really sorry for all of this confusion
How would I add mods to this? Just import a mod's rolder?
nevermind I found the mod folder in the 2nd one
We use a mixture of modrenth and curseforge mods for this whole pack as well
i was going back and forth with 1.21.2 and 1.21.1 and didnt realise the issue you said. The server was on 1.21.2 when you told me about this
Also it's not letting me add the 1.21.1 addon
It's entirely optional.
Get the server running without it, make a backup, then if you really want it and it won't install, open a ticket so they can get their dev to look at why.
i would need it to see where our friends might be crashing if they do.
It will not help with that.
oh ok
All it does is show memory usage more accurately (without it shows the peak usage since startup, not actual current usage) and add some internal metrics from Minecraft.
Just these charts:
ok
hi i need help again
