my server just keeps starting and i dont know why

What is the server running (besides minecraft)? What version, any mods? How much RAM?

You can either select it and press the download button or right click it and download it, one of them grabs the individual file, the other downloads it as a zip

i even tried reseting the whole pack and redoing the mods nothing seems to be working

Is this log from after resetting and redoing the mods or before?

Because if it's after, then it's possible the Aether mod/datapack got missed.

No, I mean what did you select in the Minecraft Jar menu?

So when you reinstall that, it replaces all the parts that come with a bare Forge install - Forge itself, server.properties file, and the mods folder.

So reinstall but "keep files" will replace those (hence the empty mods folder) but leave everything else (the world).

Essential is on the server, it doesn't go there.

Now it's complaining about the lack of "biomemakeover" instead of "aether".

Does this modpack work in single-player?

Does it work if you make a new local singleplayer world? Or was that what you were doing above? (It sounded like you were opening an existing world.)

it happens when i click single player it does not even give me the option to make a world when i click it it says preparing for world creation then it says saving world and gives me that code and text above

If the pack doesn't work in single player, it definitely won't work on a server.
