I believe Modrinth has a way to create a local server, and you would copy that folder's contents up, the same as for a CF server download.

I don't do screen share. I'm seeing if I can screenshot making a server folder with Modrinth. I thought it was a thing.

Apparently not?

Just have to do it via the "Local" method and then remove client-side mods as necessary.

Instead of Step 1 and 2, Modrinth has an easy "Open Folder" button.
