Custom Forge means "I need a version of Forge that isn't available for automatic install, so I will get the server files from Forge and upload them myself.
The error here says the files either were not uploaded or were uploaded to the wrong place.
Get the Forge server files from Forge's website (NOT CurseForge) and then upload them to the server.
... ... Where are the files going to live?
in the server?
idk im pretty dumb apprently, lol. i installed that thing and the server still wont even start
Same error?
And you installed the server files to a local folder then uploaded all the folders it made?
You have to run the installer on your machine to extract the files.
Also, not sure what's on the left side of your FTP client, but that is definitely not the right files for a server. Servers have no idea what a modlist.html is.
im trying to install solo leveling reawakening, i dont see a server download file for it though. just a normal file download
https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/modpacks/solo-leveling-reawakening/files/all?page=1&pageSize=20&version=1.20.1&gameVersionTypeId=1&showAlphaFiles=show&sortBy=dateCreated&sortOrder=desc like i dont see a server pack
Then you have to install the modpack using your launcher of preference (CurseForge, Prism, etc.) and pull the files out of that. Which will then probably require going through and removing any mods that don't go on the server side.
they had it working but i accidently deleted the server today like the instance it was on
Restore a backup?
i didnt make one
They've been a bit backed up so it may take a while, but if you're on Premium having them install it again doesn't cost anything. On Budget it's just a couple bucks. 🙂
ive also been waiting 90min for them to respond lol
