Or since it's 1.12.2, SpongeForge and Sponge plugins.

we want to avoid hybrid servers as much as possible

mod jars tend to hate being inside of a sponged server

and by hate i mean, lag

because we're mixing two technologies

lag and odd behavior

so if this truly a modded 1.12.2 server Lag Removal that I linked above is a good choice
