Our provider continues to ignore us, and we believe this is tied to our plans to leave their services. Despite being fully paid up and their contractual obligation to provide service, they’ve chosen to do the opposite—ignoring us entirely or deprioritizing us to the lowest level.

If this is true, they may stop working and wait until tomorrow to resolve the remaining servers. In any case an update would be appreciated as to why this is taking a bit to resolve an IP range issue... Again I'm patient, not too worried about my server being down for another day, but if there is an issue of a provider being non-responsive then maybe the time to drop them is sooner than later...

I highly doubt this is their fault, just because they want to leave the provider doesn't make BH responsible for the relationship falling apart. If you are paying for a service the service provider should provide the service, plain and simple. BH has done it's part, the provider dropped the ball.

I would recommend waiting it out personally. Requesting a move uses the last automatic backup they have available, and lose any other backups/instances in the process.

The reason why it's better to wait:

• You will need to start over with server files and such.
• New IP will be assigned, you will need to update your domain or players that connect to it...
• Lack of locations with premium services that have a better connection... (I have a server in Dallas for better connection to players equally, I don't want to move to OR or NY as it may hurt players connection/ping.)
• It takes time to put in a ticket and wait for that transfer to occur...

When servers are told they're no longer needed, they're decommissioned. They essentially get removed from the rack, backed up, wiped, tested, retested, then shelved.

They have these little things that test ram, ones that test hard drives, etc.

So if they find any faulty ones, they discard them and grab new ones.

It may be that the pad data center's are lettuce on the counter while the unpaid ones were the chicken deep frying on the stove and you gotta get that put out before you can worry about the lettuce

Could even be that the paid data centers were all on the stove and they got burned up in the grease fire and are gonna need a full post mortem and the unpaid DC was lettuce on the counter and there's no since letting it sit until you get the autopsy results back .

We’ve discovered that as part of the current situation, our vendor power cycled our equipment. This has caused some servers to fail to reboot and has also impacted some of our network switches, including the one in Seattle.

Our team is actively working on configuring a replacement switch to restore full functionality in Seattle as quickly as possible.

As of right now when I refresh its normal but when I try to jump in it pulls up an error message saying "Authentication servers are down. Please try again later, sorry!"

Once the server is back up, yes. CUrrently staff would only have the last automatic backup that could be about a day old, and using that would means you lose all other backups/instances on your current server.
