Yeah thats because it's recommended for the server for 8gb, it's a hungry pack

Yes the server only uses what is needed, as you play more, more resources are used and that's why there is a 8gb recommendation for the server

entieties and stuff will slowly pile up --> higher ram usage, higher cpu usage.

Eh because of the pack being very hungry I am not sure what would be best, you can decrease the view distance, but I doubt that would do much. Another option is to install a mod that decrease the spawn amount of entities, but that will take a hefty amount of time, otherwise I am not too sure

You can always see if official support has any better ideas for decreasing the usage
