#Server keeps crashing without crash reports and logs are cut off

Running cracked servers are against the Mojang's EULA and it's not something our staff will be able to assist you with. Cracked clients are illegal, and you're also putting yourself at risk with clients and servers running in cracked mode due to malware/backdoors/keyloggers and other exploits. If you like the game, we suggest that you purchase it.

[21:05:14] [User Authenticator #17/INFO]: UUID of player JoelyPolieOlie is e88bdfa8-5a5c-4415-b8fd-d15f6871709e
[21:05:14] [Server thread/INFO]: JoelyPolieOlie (/68.12.35.138:39801) lost connection: [LP] A database error occurred whilst loading permissions data. Please try again later. If you are a server admin, please check the console for any errors.```
It would seem some people are getting kicked because of LP database having issues
That's been happening intermittently for a longer time now but just reconnecting always fixes it
We tracked it down to something wrong with the database but never could figure out what
Didn't see that part sorry
Your log is completely spammed with lots of check stuff. I assume it's from the grimAC plugin
Yeah spartan & grim seem to be having a competition on who can false flag the most lol
imo anti-cheats really aren't worth it in MC
maybe at most something that could alert you to something that is potentially sus but should be very limited
instead good staff that checks on your users (and knows who to check on with some basic detection of suspicious things like getting a lot of diamonds in a short while is what you could leave to an anti-cheat) will be 100x better
Probably but with just 2 admins that's not too feasible
How reliable are the hardware readings off of spark? Yesterday I checked what it said and it showed 3.2gb of process ram availeable but I didn't think much of it
Earlier today I checked plan and it showed that the ram usage hasnt gone past 3 gigs for a while now, and the process cpu usage lines up with what the contror panel is saying, could this be a possibility?
And a player just now reported that the server has crashed at 5.35 am on 2 days in a row
Java is funky as in that it doesn’t take all that is allocated right away. Instead let’s say you have an 8GB but your playercount at some point needs only 3GB it will just take the 3GB
When more is needed and the plan you bought has the extra memory it will just take it
Then the question becomes how do I force it to take it all I suppose
Since if it cops out at peak times but is perfectly fine during the slower period then 3 gigs aint enough during the peak
You don't.
It takes what it needs when it needs it. If it hasn't reached the allowable max, then running out isn't the issue.
if it needs more it will take more up to whatever you bought
so any tips on how to figure out why everything is burning without crash reports or logs or even new errors 💀
only lead is it went down at exactly 5.35am on 2 different days
aren't missing crash reports and cut off logs usually caused my memory issues?
faulty ram ?
The paper people had this to say
This would best be put in a ticket as here is community support and they can configure it for you
that's the plan
support gave us 3 extra gigs of ram to temporarily test what happens and the max usage today was still 3.5 gigs but it didn't crash, if the server really was running our of ram before shouldn't it have passed 5gb now that there was more available?
spark also showed that there's 4.4gb allocated now and shouldn't that be just fine without the extra? maybe getting close to the limit but still far from completely out
