we are having bad connectivity issues with the server and id like to host the server. if there is no possible way to do this is there something we can do to better our connection?

Wait, you aren't the owner?

You would have to purchase a server and transfer everything, or the owner would have to put in the ticket.

We aren't entirely clear what the issue is. We don't even know what service you're using, I just guessed Minecraft.

okay, when i load into the server it says im on 77 which sounds right because im USE and he is USC. if i fall and take damage the server wont register for around 7 seconds

i thought it was server sided but it only seems to get worse the later it gets.

Damage not registering until after a delay may not be a network issue.

A ping of 77 suggests it's potentially server lag, not network lag.

#

Ultimately, it would be more helpful if the owner was here, so we could get info on server-side goings on.

If you have plugins, add essentialsx and type in game /tps

#

That should be a quick indicator of server lag

Also depends a lot on server RAM per player/mods, amount of entities, etc
