#1.21.4 update?

hello, ive been playing on a new 1.21.3 fabric server i made with my gf. Shes asked me if i can update it to 1.21.4 to get the new mobs on the server. I updated to Fabric 1.21.4 in the JAR menu the server hasnt changed over. I still says it requires 1.21.3. Did i not do all the steps right or is it not possible to just update a world like that? Help would be much appreciated!

are you running modded? also you probably didn't do something right, did you restart the server?

send over a latest.log, it will tell us if you did it right or not

Please send some logs over so we can help resolve your issue. To access logs on your Minecraft server, please navigate to your server panel's File Manager and take the following path:

1. Open the Server's File Manager
2. Navigate inside the 'logs' folder
3. Click on "latest.log" to download it and send the file over Discord to this channel.

when you say "it still says it requires 1.21.3" what do you mean by that, are you saying it's titled that way, or are you crashing and its saying you are not 1.21.3?

if the latter, mods and plugins can act like that and cause that behavior.

where it says currently hosting though it says 1.21.4

this log says you have no mods running. why bother with fabric mod loader if you're not going to run mods? just run straight vanilla.

however, i feel like we're heading down some rabbit holes. I recommend opening a ticket and letting ticket staff getting you sorted. it's faster than you figuring out what went wrong and waiting for us peers to eventually give you solutions you can try.
