Farsight, Distant Horizons, and Bobby are the best ways to get extra view distance without impacting server performance.

They each have advantages and disadvantages.

Alright but for distant horizon every time I put it in my mods folder the server does not want to start

Distant horizons is a client side mod, it does not go on the server

Correct, on curseforge you can look at this little bit here and it will tell you if it is client, client and server or just server, most will say in the description of the mod.
