Me and some friends, we're expecting at least 20, want to do a BMC4 (Better MC Forge) server, and we are discussing how much ram would it need, we tried serching online but didn't find something acurrate, since a lot of people say 8/9 is enough for 3 people, ¿could some one tell us an estimate? Or how we could calculate it

if 8-9 is active 12-16gb ram is ok

Also, the Bisect website has an estimator for any modpack that they have in the auto-install menu.

BMC4 w/20 people online at once? It's not gonna be smoove no matter what. 🙂 You can optimize and make it less bad, but 8 or more and that pack starts to tank.
