I bought a Minecraft server for crazy craft lite and when I try to join by putting in the server address it says mismatched channel list. I did some research and saw that this may be because the Minecraft version I'm running is not the same as the server but I'm not sure how I should go about solving this.

Check the version of CrazyCraft Lite in the Minecraft Jar menu in your control panel, then switch to that version in your modded launcher of choice.

That's the Minecraft version, not the Modpack version.

No.

You need to use the modpack to connect to the server running the modpack.

But modpacks have versions - mods get updated, bugs get fixed...

So you have to match not only the MC version, but the modpack version, too.

I think they are both 1.16.5 but maybe im missing something

I now see that the modpack version in different than the minecraft version on the jar

The versions of CrazyCraft Updated Lite on Curseforge are all between 0.1.0 and 0.1.6.

it says the modpack version is 1.3hf

#

and the minecraft version is 1.16.5

im not sure how to change it

also when i go to my bisect account it says it has the create and beyond modpack installed and i dont see anything about crazy craft

Then that's your problem - the wrong modpack got installed to the server.

Switch to the one you want in the Minecraft Jar menu.

it givers me the option to reinstall but i dont see how to uninstall this

You just got the server and this isn't the modpack you selected at checkout?

If so, open a ticket, they'll get you sorted.

They fixed it so that the crazy craft lite mod is now on my bisect server but when i try to join it says io.netty.channel.AbstractChannel$AnnotatedConnectException: Connection refused: no further information
