can someone confirm that this post is hopeless? i think i’m just gonna redo the entire model
i have similar issues and just wanted to post about them
my textures unexpectedly change when suing different orientations
did you make your orientations with the ‘cardinal’ parameter?
also which one is displaying the correct texture, or are they both broken?
it seems that my problem is happening on faces of my model that are rotated
all of the rotated faces just become really dark
I just turned on ambient occlusion for the model and it works now. Is it proper protocol to close this thread or can I leave it open for ᑲ⫯ᑲᑲ09?

are your broken textures completely black or just really dark?
i think they are black
i think if "ambientocclusion": false isn't in your json then it should be on by default
you could try putting "ambientocclusion": true in the json
between textures and credit
also im not sure if our issues are the same since yours are completely black and aren't on rotated faces
apparently it's really something different. ambient occlusion did not help
