Is there some time of KubeJS function that's called every tick my custom item exists as a dropped item in the world? I'm trying to check if my "hot" item is dropped in water so I can convert it into a different one.

Can you get the co-ordinates of it? If so you might be able to check to see what block is at the those co-ordinates and if it's water then you convert it
I also know that there are mods with temperature stuff so if you get one of those then see if the area that the item is in is cold enough to cool it

no need, lychee already allows me to do all that, replace the block, run commands at the position, etc.
