@high seal hey, sorry to ping, but your online and it's been 11 minutes and I don't have much time before I have to leave for a vacation and not develop for a whole month lmao
._.
I'd have to do some research, please don't ping people directly for questions unless they're like the mod author or something.
ok
sorry about that
like I said, i don't have much time untill i leave for a whole month
So some cursory searching: https://discord.com/channels/303440391124942858/1194926554841616495
I'm also like, not even the main expert on kubejs...
oh
Most of the people doing kubejs-support triaging are doing it on a volunteer basis. I just poke my head in every now and then if I know something.
ah, ok
i thought there were dedicated people to just doing support
they went onto a different path, i want the fire effect with fire damage
give it the fluid tag "minecraft:lava"
that's the best you can do in this scenario, i'm not sure if there's any other way atm
also as they said, please do not ping random/specific people for support unless they're an addon creator of an addon you're using in the moment, or if someone asks you to
So from what I can tell in the other scripts, they defined a custom PlayerEvent tick callback to determine if the player was in the fluid.
If you want to do that, that's about the best you can do, along with registering the custom damage type.
I only have the purple role because I'm a server booster lol, I think that definitely backfired on me.
