Can I somehow lock an item in a hotbar slot, so it cant be moved or anything? If possible it would be great if this could either depend on an item nbt or something I can configure in a server script

yeah, possible

PlayerEvents.inventoryChanged event and then check the nbt with event.item.nbt and cancel the event in that case

if it does work then post the script here, pretty sure you cant cancel the inventory changed event but maybe i did it wrong
