#Limit Seek Adventure to 5 trips (prevent perfect character abuse when using Work on Self to 'pay')

I just made a character who is 27 yrs old with no bad skills and almost every positive mastery. It's easily done by choosing Seek Adventure 8 times to obtain all the stories (might get a duplicate, but that's fine), picking answers that don't give the same benefits, then using any you don't want to remove all the negatives without aging. There's no reason to stop, either. You can just keep doing this as long as you want.

I know the intention is to give players more freedom and I do like the current system, but I had expected to have like 25 different Seek Adventure stories and then be limited in how many are available, so each character is almost always different. It might even work by clicking it once forces the player to answer 5 stories, then the button just turns off or disappears. Something similar to Tactics Ogre's tarot cards character creation.

Just to have it here. This was only 27. He has no negatives. Probably could have kept going until I had every single positive and no negatives, though.

Well, there is no need to impose constraints to every other player if the current game allows you to play the way you want. Just stop yourself at 5 adventures. IMHO

There is a balance. Getting older does not come without consequences, so you may play a young naive captain, who will acquire skills through the game, or an old, wise one,... with arthritis

Yes, the intended balance exists, but the system does not have the safety it needs to ensure the devs apparent intention is protected. If it doesn't matter to him, so be it. But everything about this game is supposed to be about difficulty and no hand holding. The splash screen mentions constant death as an expectation. This isn't here to be popular. It's a mention to fix the abusable system in whatever way they want.
