First screen shot is when i undocked from OKLG
Second Screen shot is my speed before clicking docking clamps
Third Screen shot is damage before clicking clamps.
Last screen shot is the amout of damage done to my ship when docking at almost 0.00 VREL.
This is just too much damage for almost no VREL.

This is from OKLG, but i'm sure it's the same issue.
One thing to note though, There was no collision warning in my ship logs when docking OR undocking from this derelict, so it could be a seperate issue as well. Thanks for looking into this, lemme know if you need anything else from me for testing reasons.

So, this may or may not be useful information to help track this down. But i have a section of my ship that was added fresh before i left OKLG to goto venus just now, all parts are pristine before leaving. I got all the way to VORB and docked, and the only damage to my ship was damage already there from being too lazy to repair everything... The section I added before leaving OKLG was still pristine. I just undocked from VORB and am now heading back to OKLG and that part of the ship is STILL in perfect condition, which leads me to believe me that the damage on docking issue is isolated to just docking with derelicts. Here is a screen shot of the segment of my ship in question. The damage that is there is from micro meteorites that just hit me on the way out of venus orbit.
And i've noticed a lack of taking any damage when docking with OKLG as well.
It just seems to be only docking with derelicts that is causing it. Hopefully that helps you track this down.

I can now confirm beyond a reasonable doubt that the stress damage on ships seems to only be happening when docking with a derelict. I freshly repaired my ship before leaving OKLG to go on another trip to VORB, fully repaired before leaving OKLG, and the only damage to the ship is from the two micro meteors that hit me on the way to VORB, no damage anywhere else on the ship after docking with VORB:
