#Add the ability to recharge at the flotilla

It is possible to install your ship's battery(s) on the flotilla and charge them that way
That said I would also like to simply recharge my ship at the flotilla too
Or how about the ability to go outside and connect your ship to theirs via conduit and steal the power?
I'd also like to see a switch on a battery so that it goes into charge mode only so you can amalgamate power.
i think you should have to buy it from a fixer at the station to fit with the place's more guerilla theme
then again there is a cargo pod terminal so..
one of the barriers here is that the charging interface is very official and linked to the ledger etc, it doesnt feel as illegal/ragtag if you show up to your secret thief hideout and it has a fully working corporate looking interface and just as many comforts as the official station.
Stealing power by installing your battery onto floatilla until it's full? That feels more in line, heck, keep backup batteries there that are charging whilst you scavenge then come back and swap them out so you dont have to wait as long
I can't believe I didn't think of leaving a second battery to charge while i'm out stealing parts🤦♂️
I'm at least glad to know the devs intended you to fuck around and destroy the station for your benefit
I will feel better when I eventually replace the entire Flotilla with all super luxurious and pristine parts including my own luxury custom apartment
Would that even work, considering the stations get unloaded when you undock? I thought any energy flows stopped as soon as you undock
How about creating a black market currency or banking system? It would realistically need to exist or they couldn't do business. So if you do business on the flotilla and other shady guys like e.g. the black-marketeer on OKLG you exclusively get paid in "dirty money" that you can't use for all legal things and shops. Of course there are also money launderers available to turn dirty money into clean legal cash but they of course demand a cut of all money you transfer to the legal side.
It won't.
Having a cobbled-together Refueling station from various broken components would be pretty fire, and keeping in the spirit of the Floatilla's 'self reliance' shtick - Exposed electrical boards, wiring hanging down in spots, analog buttons being used to switch on / off which thing needs refueled (D20, 02, N02, ect) - and a repurposed 'delay' switch being another analog way of measuring how much of something needs fueled.
Directly paying the session-unique Floatilla owner would work as a stand-in for the OKLG 'Dockmaster' (or whoever they are, in the Commerical District)
Yeah maybe they have a refueling station on the flotilla but it looks like a jailbroken corporate machine or cobbled together. Could be the same basic UI as the official one just with edits to make it look like it's been hacked and refitted
Being able to filch power off of their reactor goes a long way, I wish I'd known about that mechanic before I had to do a bunch of costly PASS shuttles one time
When staying longer at Flotilla have enough electrical parts ready as the power lines will frequently get damaged and prevent your batteries from being charged
recharging batteries is super cheap usually under 100Credits. why not just make it free. especially if you short quest to fix some things and run the cable to charge the ship
That could be fixed by adding a pirate version of the repairman NPCs that fix KLEG.
That would be a good idea in general I lost one of the sellers due to the door to the plant lab being broken didn't have the part to fix it so by the time I got back they were gone
