Version is 0.14.3.8
The bug is that when I am pressing any button, I see my ship in its real location on nav. But when I release the button, I see myself in orbit of the sun quite some ways away from ganymede. (I am a new player and never visited other stations, I saw so far only 4 different wrecks).
Screenshots explanation: to take the screenshot without crashing all I did to see myself near ganymede was hold the "R" button. As soon I let it go, I see the othre version with the orbit instead.

Can you please upload a save where this is happening? Also, try save/exit game/reload. If it's reproducible, it'll be much easier for the devs to work out what's going on. Thanks!
They just need the ZIP file from inside the save folder.

i can see that in the top left of your nav, the nav fast forward is almost 2 hours in the future. Can you reset that and see if it still happens as you say?

Indeed, resetting the fast forward (I didn't even realize that was a thing... I don't know why it was set to 2 hours in the future, I never did that myself). "fixed" the bug.
I still consider it a bit buggy, the mininum fast forward is 1s, and seemly there is no way to see the "present" when you are not pressing a button.
At some speeds 1s can still be a lot of distance, making everything on the map move a lot and making hard to see where you are going NOW.

did you attempt to set a course somewhere? that automatically sets the fast-forward to show the targets position at arrival time
