Taking the ferry to OKLG SEC puts you in prison

I took the ferry for a quest and got stranded in a room with a locked door ( I presume a cell) and had to reload because I forgot my pda and tools.

Lol, I don't think that's a cell, but rather just that all of the satelites have a locked door to "prevent" travellers from getting in

Haven't been to SEC this build, but ATC didn't have a locked door. Makes send that sec is more secure, but an bit at odds with the game sending you there all the time

Must be a cell, got around it by factory resetting the door.
Hacking it got me killed by cops..

SEC is a fair bit larger with half a dozen crew.

Yes came to confirm. Going to OKLG SEC will result in you arriving inside a bedroom with a locked door. requiring you to commit a crime if you have hacking and or just calling a ferry if you dont. and if you dont have eithers you are softlocked.

going to be honest. game needs some sort of access key system for the NPC's too get through locked doors and not the player

This situation is bypassed by connecting to the navconsole, requesting logs and selecting the code from list. But yes, we land in the cell
