Although I have a valid scavenging permit, I keep beeing boarded and fined ?

he docked, boarded, started conversation. i surrendered for my crimes (I HAVE A VALID PERMIT, DAM'it) then he went on the treadmill refusing to disembark ... these space Law enforcement dudes ... the rpevioud one stole a laser cuttr on the floor to repair his ship

i now have a second one tracking me, while still docked with the a** spending his life on my treadmill ...

i have a lot of this cop's instances on the upper right part of the screen, dunno if that helps.

okay, i'm KIS, i did not think to check frst. warrant and public enemy. but the cop docked to my ship will not accept my surrender and process with the usual choice of lumpsum, installments or going to jail

Update: the cop wouldn't arrets or charge me. just discuss hen he was not trying to pound on me. so i killed him (via console commands, as he was beating the crap out of me and damaging my suit). Flew back to OKLG to get arrested but to no avail. No cops in OKLG. So i went back to the ship and repo'ed it completely to lighten up my own ship. I'm still a public enemy at OKLG and can't get rid of the status .. I guess I'll have to try to fly without a license to get arrested again..

If it's a BUG: You can get rid of "Warrant" and "Public Enemy" status via commands in the console. But I can't get them out of my head, and I don't have a chance to launch the game now to find out, but I used it myself once in version 0.13.

How to remove "Warrant":
||
Open console with F3 key and type commands. First clears screen. Second show you all stats which begins with "Crime" text. And with third you set it to 0 value (you need to adjust it according output from second command). Commands are:
clr
getCond Crime
addCond CrimeOKLGArrest -1

I thing you need also remove this one (but I might be wrong):
addCond IsReportingCrimeThreatEnd -1

Form "Public Enemy" I don't know which one yet, try to search for it on characted, which has that condition, whith:
getCond nemy
getCond ublic

Thanks for the heads-up! I have a bug open ID #4851 to look into police issues, and I'll include a note that you had

  • an NPC using your treadmill after you surrendered.
  • NPC wouldn't clear your wanted status after surrendering
