Fahrenheit & Rankine Temperature Setting (Ostranauts 0.13.0.17+)

Adds Fahrenheit and Rankine as options for unit of temperature.

Installation instructions are on the GitHub repo's Releases page.

Save-friendly: Can be safely added/removed at-will.

Compatibility: Only incompatible with mods that:

• Skip: the method GUIOptions.Init()
• Modify: the section initializing the temperature options within GUIOptions.Init()
• Modify/skip: MathUtils.GetTemperatureString()
• Modify/skip: JsonUserSettings.TemperatureUnit()

Great mod, very much in the spirit of the US colony on Titan. Could you please let us know whether the mod is compatible with existing savegames? Are there other mods it is likely to create a conflict with based on the files you needed to alter or any other forseeable issue? Thanks!

Oh I'll update the post- the only state it touches is the user settings JSON (which it saves the choice of temperature), so it can be freely added/removed to existing saves

Would it be possible to add multiple temperature readouts? Sometimes an absolute scale is preferable and sometimes an offset one is, plus the ability to display them next to each other would help with learning to intuitively correlate them

I can look into it.

Note: it would probably be difficult to intuitively configure this at runtime, as IIRC the settings menu was created at design time and not generated dynamically. It'd probably end up an "Update the BepInEx config file and reboot" sorta thing if you want to change the secondary unit.

To enable it, you'd just need to run the updated version once, check your BepInEx/Config/LiberatedTemperature.cfg and set EnableSecondUnit to true, and SelectedUnit to whichever unit you want

The temperature setting set in the in-game pause menu is the left number, the temperature setting in the config file is the right number.

either way, we robyn put an autoloader in there that adds your json mod stuff

for your json, you need to worry about the mod_info.json and Autoload.Meta.toml

along with manifest
