very fast hypercapnia while wearing pressure suit

It seems my pressure suit is causing me to develop hypercapnia at an insane rate. I know you can only wear it for a short period since it's just an air bubble but I don't seem to have any time at all with it on before my CO2 levels skyrocket... I have enough O2 in the compartment I'm taking the helmet on and off in though N2 is down to near nothing. The O2 should still keep me going for a while though right?

Just timed it and I have 20 seconds on x1 speed before I get dizzy with carbon hypercapnia

Does it maybe have anything to do with some negative traits you have??
I develop hypercapnia about 2-3 minutes in on x1.. but im feeble and micro-something..
Im a weakling, to say it simple 🤣

Though seems to have improved with N2 in the suit...

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that in suit atmosphere contained only O2.. now with N2 you absorb less CO2..

Im making assumptions here, don't take it at face value...

How much CO2 is in the compartment where you are removing and replacing the pressure suit helmet? The more CO2 there is in that compartment the less time you’ll have before you have a problematic amount in your bubble.

Ah I see, I'm not playing on that save anymore as I started another but maybe this is the issue...

I had the same issue and I had to dock in station and open all my airlocks for a while to vent the CO2. But without an EVA suit or a scrubber, you def have to keep an eye on the compartments CO2 lvls.

Yeah it's annoying, EVA suits are amazing though

no co2, experiencing the same, there is a bsolutely no co2 and it started with wearing eva (no battery tho)
