There are four size classifications of Pumpkaboo: Small, Medium, Large, and Jumbo. Within those, there are XS, S, M, L, XL, and Alpha. I tried for the Small, Medium, Large, and Jumbo varieties, and also got two of each to evolve one set into Gorgeist.
I also have a shiny Alpha Jumbo and an XS small variety. The size difference is insane.

Effects are random, but probability of certain types of effects is tied to flavor.
From what I've seen, 420 flavor will give you a chance at lvl 3 or 2, with higher flavor score boosting odds marginally. Primary flavor determines most effects typically, depending on how strong secondary flavor is.
Powers are as follows:
Sweet: sparkling and sizes
Spicy: offensive effects
Bitter: defensive effects
Sour: item effects
Fresh: encounter/catching effects
From what I've heard, 420, 250ish, and low for other three flavors is really all you need.

shiny power lvl 3 gives 3 extra rolls just like the charm does
so with a level 3 donut but without the charm the chance is roughly 1/1024
if you have both, it's 1/585
also shiny power lvl 3 donuts guarantee one shiny of the donut's type
if you put a backup at a pokemon center before going into the hyperspace you can keep resetting until the one mon you want is shiny
you can also abuse it if you have say, a normal type donut and you use it on a dragon type hyperspace that has drampa in it
since drampa is the only one to be normal type too, it'll always be shiny

Is it OK Mega they kinda just had the Pokémon stack up to make a Mecca sword looking Pokémon, which is kind of cool. I kinda expected more though.

||If you're referring to how Magearna has a form that takes on the classic Poke ball colors, that's not it's shiny. That's its form when it takes on its original coloration, with the chrome one being the result of the paint flaking off with time. Shiny base Magearna just has all its colored bits turn more gray, and shiny original color gets Ultra Ball colors.||

like rather then a normal type being completely immune to ghost attacks they seem to take a bit of damage from ghost type moves during those kinds of battles
which is what I noticed when I had my Pyroar fighting against that rogue mega banette
granted it took a lot less damage from the ghost type attacks. but it wasn't immune to them
I may not have been able to mega evolve the pyroar, but the Plus moves helped a lot
I'd say if you had a good enough pokemon with strong stab plus moves you could use it'd work too
you don't always have to go for a mega evolving mon
but that's just how I play
ironically, Mega Meganium is a good type matchup against Mega Zygarde in this situation since it's only moves are ground and dragon it seems. it doesn't get any poison type attacks for that battle(though that might change in one of those rematch things)
and it has equal stats for both defense and special defense
there's also Mega Altaria which is dragon/fairy
Mega Gardevoir has great Special Defense, but only half the amount of regular Defense and most of Mega Zygarde's attacks are physical

I don't know if this is relevant, but against "Rogue Mega Fights", which does fit what Zygarde is, immunities to moves are ignored and treated as strong resists. So you can't just go into a fight thinking "I'm immune to X attacks from a Rogue Mega" because the game doesn't let immunity work against them. They are, however, immune to attacks they are normally immune to, so you can't use fighting type moves on M Banette, for example.

but it was taking barely any damage from the ghost type attacks
and Pyroar isn't the most bulky of mons imo
so just basing on this, it might turn your immunities into strong resists (.25x damage)
