Why does my stupid Gourgeist have to bounce on over to get into melee range when the attack itself locks on to the target and still hits them even if they move out of the way?

Like, seriously... Physical moves like Rock Slide act like ranged attacks, why does Shadow Sneak not?

Why does Gourgeist have to get close to status them with Trick-Or-Treat? Why is Shadow Sneak slower than other moves of its type like Quick Attack and Bullet Punch?

Its so annoying.

idk. I never had problems with Shadow Sneak on my Ariados, but it's other attacks are close range, so I never tried using it at range.

I heard on AJP that Clawitzer is pretty good in the meta, because of its ranged attacks. I'mma consider getting and training one up for ranked battles.

So if your opponent has a Garchomp or Excadrill and they see you, you're pretty much screwed cause by the time you send out an attack they've already hit you with a full power Earthquake.

Though... tbh, I've been using Dedenne and Gourgeist to get those type titles filled out... I'm sure its much better with reliable teammates.

Zygarde has no true counters. Since Nihil Light hits fairy types, and it gets ground type moves that hit flying types, there are no type combinations that can resist Mega Zygarde

It can trap Pokemon. Also, even if you KO it, it doesn't make mega energy go away, meaning it can just respawn with full mega energy.

I saw someone running Whirlipede just to use Infestation and Toxic, and despite them losing, it made the battle completely unfun to play. Now imagine giving that to a Pokemon that can actually cause damage

On an unrelated note, Earthquake got me tilted because the hit box for it lasts even after the attack is finished, meaning that in a single battle, my Metagross walked into Earthquake after the animation was finished 4 times and died every single time. It was extremely infuriating.

So, it seems it's a 1/16 chance that you'll get an XS sized mon, and it's a 5% (of 50%? maybe I'm reading Serebii wrong) to be a Small Variety, so multiplying my odds... Seems like about 9/1600 chance of getting an XS Small Pumpkaboo spawn (assuming the daytime spawn is 10% odds, and calculating from a 10% chance of it being Alpha and overriding the size roll).

If it's only a 5% chance of Alpha override, then we go up to 19/3200 for a XS Small Pumpkaboo.

Assuming that the way it works is that if it is Alpha, it just overrides the size calculation and sets it to a fixed value.

Ok so after running the calculations, I'm guessing that people will be running Mega Frosslass against Zygarde, but they also have to be running screens as well, which actually pairs well with its ghost typing. Zygarde will also be running Light Screen because it otherwise dies. Zygarde players will be running Stone Edge to counter Froslass, and so Froslass users will be running defensively. With Reflect up and 252 EVs invested in defense, regular Froslass can easily survive at least 2 Stone Edges from Zygarde 50%, no matter what stat spread. In order for Zygarde to survive, it has to invest in SpDef and HP, which would allow it to go into Complete form, and then mega evolve. If Zygarde goes mega, then even with ZERO EVs invested in Special attack and a neutral nature, Nihil Light will KO a regular Froslass. A mega Froslass would survive, but it would get hit with a TON OF DAMAGE. Mega Froslass using Blizzard on Mega Zygarde isn't a guaranteed 1HKO even with Max EVs in Special Attack and a Nasty Plot if Zygarde still has Light Screen up

And it can't do anything fancy with stat changes because of Contrary (if it raises stats its bad with Contrary, if it loweres stats its bad without Contrary, which is what most people will use in a playthrough).

This is in Jaune Sector, look for roof access scaffolding where the arrow is. If you run along the railing, you can respawn the dratini (it's the railing on the north, near the mega crystal). Chance for shiny, but you can get to the yellow pokeball where dratini is from there.

Another one is pictured in the map, but not sure how to get to it.

Also, the ekans on that roof is friendly, totally will dance if you do photo mode and play music. (the roof labeled "roof")

It's really hard to bench hunt eevee 'cause it only appears on sunny days- once I beat the game I'll probably shiny hunt it near hotel Z at that tree. But before that I want to find a good place to run back and fourth and despawn and respawn eevee
