OK I'm checking the Zone 20 list, I only see Alakazam, Machamp, Gengar and Gourgeist there when it concerns trade evos. I know Trevenant and Gourgeist can spawn elsewhere as Alphas, too. Apparently there's a one time Steelix in Zone 3, too.

This leaves Aromatisse, Scizor, Slurpuff and Slowking.

TLDR: Trade Evos that can be found in the wild: Alakazam, Machamp, Gengar, Gourgeist, Trevenant and Steelix (Steelix is one-time only)
Trade Evos that cannot be found in the wild: Slowking, Scizor, Slurpuff and Aromatisse

Here are my numbers from research I did last night (read doing both methods once lol):
I used a level 96-100 alpha dragonite with brutal swing, extreme speed, dragon rush, and hurricane (didn't use much) with a normal gem and forcefed protein.
I almost definitely didn't play optimally in either case but for the royale, which battle zones you have will dramatically change how quickly you can farm opponents.
In the royale I kept to the ground since I figured going on the rooves would be a time waste. I basically just ran around extreme speeding mons until I couldn't find a trainer or thought it would take too long to search for the next one.
I went and did a challenge match at quasartico whenever I could just for the candies, so I'm probably slower.
I also prioritized getting advantage but just getting yourself seen might be quicker, i don't have the data.
For restaurants I went to restaurant le nah and just did battles until I hit the amount of time I had spent in the royale.

I hit 48 battles in the royale (including two promos) at a time of 38m 42s

I hit 45 battles in the restaurant at a time of 39m 2s

Load times are a factor and I'm on a switch 1 so switch 2 players will likely go faster in both methods

The important distinction I think is that the royale is a full brain on activity

You're looking at the screen, playing the game, hunting trainers, and considering your next move and how much time you're wasting

In the restaurant I barely looked at my switch

It was in my periphery all the times so I could react to the right cues to press buttons

But otherwise I was just watching a video on my computer

basically Neo Shiny Clause is "first shiny is free like normal shiny rules, to use any further shinies you have to give up either a mon from the same species or a pokemon from the caught location only if it hasn't been used in a non-wild battle yet."

i would say you dont have to, beating alphas gives you exp candy m and for early game Quarsatico Inc sells you exp candy s for mega shards which are super easy to farm

one exp candy s gives you 800 exp and you can easily make around 100 candies in maybe 30 min of grinding the good spots

Found a Shiny Ekans last night when I was just exploring for some Colourful Screws, and then found a Shiny Patrat not even 5 minutes later. 😄

I forgot to save against the Patrat, but what I did was retrace my steps from the Pokémon Centre when I reloaded the game, and that actually got the spawn to go again. 🙂
