I'm alright with Mega Dnite being late

On account of it being an actual fucking monster in stats

And you don't get the stone much later than when you'd evolve Dragonair

Malamar and Pyroar being this late is an absolute travesty

Litten is an early game mon and both Mega Malamar and Mega Pyroar are lacking for Megas so being earlier would've really helped for them

Same for Ampharos to a lesser degree

Even more silly is that you can get Mega Garchomp earlier than all of these

This game has done a miraculous job of making me hate every other group in the game only to fall in love with them later

Then I come to find out that he kinda has a point? The wild zones dont exactly stop the alpha bunnelby nearby from terrorizing people. It just makes places like the graveyard too dangerous for that poor old lady to go visit her deceased husband. The Rust Syndicate, I was so pissed at their plot line. Being forced to do their dirty work because what, Urbaine / Taunie took out a small loan that I could easily have handed to him? Tsk I wanted to beat the shit out of him for that.

Then it turns out he just wants you to do community service and he is a nice guy. His little loanshark routine didnt last long and he lets the interest go and even pays back the debt himself just as I was starting to accept I didnt hate him.

Jubilee or whatever her name is? Nah I still hate her. Being dragged to her party, awful. But hearing Urbain insult and dismiss her? Utter ambrosia after the Rust syndicate. It was this moment that I actually warmed up to Urbain as well.

Though her maids story I loved the turnaround and how she is kinda just a victim. ||

||He lived 3,000 years already, he's watched everyone he's ever known pass away before his eyes. He wandered the earth searching for his Floette, and was finally reunited. Ange was the only loose thread left, yet another threat he created, but was powerless to stop. Once the player defeats it and Kalos is finally safe again, then and only then does he let himself lay to rest.||

||(And I don't recall if they ever confirmed he was immortal, it was just implied by his long life span. Its not really a huge stretch to retcon it as an extended lifespan).||

||The fact that he had goodbye messages prepared implies that he could feel it coming for a while now. They mention in the game that AZ build Hotel Z to be his final residence. He was likely just waiting for the inevitable march of time to take its toll.||

||Plus, I've been saying for years now that AZ should have peacefully passed away at the end of XY (maybe dissappear into sparkles or something mysterious like that). Its the only way that makes sense for the player to get the Floette... He searched for 3,000 years, he would never ever give that up if he still had life left in him.||

||Meanwhile if he knows he's soon going to die, it only makes sense that he would be at peace with it knowing that the player and Taunie/Urbain are there to take care of it.||

||(Not to mention, L also got granted "eternal life," but he asks the player "what should I do with my 3,000 years of life?" implying that that's around the amount of time that the Ultimate Weapon gives you... Its a soft retcon that doesn't harm the lore all that much).||

||And as for Floette still having eternal life... Its a Pokemon. Not a human. The fact that it can Mega evolve too also implies its sort of become its own thing. Its practically a legendary.||
