Since Nemona actually has the orange uniform in the anime, I think that makes Scarlet closer to the cannon timeline? Violet definitely has cooler uniforms, which is kind of a big deal since that's what you'll be looking at for most of the game, but the dlcs have some decent clothing too.

etc.

Also, the boost to damage is 20-30%. I don't remember the exact number.

The only exception is STAB moves, which get the standard x2 damage.

ALSO, it doesn't change the Pokemon's moves.

Specifically for Terapagos, who can continuously use boosted moves without losing the damage.

Tera Blast becomes Stellar Type. It has no weaknesses and it's only Super Effective against Terastallized Pokemon.

i forgot beast boost is only when defeating a pokemon, not just when a pokemon faints. so soul heart is decicively better than beast boost.

Almost every time I do this, I get 2-3 Delibird named "FallenSenpai". Does anyone know why these are getting traded with this name? Is it a reference to something? I feel bad for the little dorks, getting passed around so much, and I've started releasing them into the wild rather than putting them back into the rotation. Hopefully fellow wild Pokemon can't see their nicknames and pick on them for it. :P

i think it's poor wording. it's counting shiny pokemon registered in your dex, not battled. so if you got one by trade at any point it would count that.

I thought i found a helpful article but it fails to mention veluza or fidough or klawf or alcremie. If shuckle fermenting berries counts then fidough certainly counts for the yeast breath being used for bread

So far all i found is reddit claiming real world animals exist in the world when that hasnt been true since gen 2. A lot of their evidence is either from gen 1+2 or because of people making jokes related to words like owl or hornet

Og Gen 1 and 2 were explicitly set in a universe where it was just like irl, but Pokemon just showed up one day

Thats why so little was known about them

Starting in gen 3 we shifted away from that universe, more towards one where Pokemon always existed

Each generation is actually a universe shift. And each pair of games is slightly different universes, where some Pokemon are a lot less common in one than the other.

Thats why retroactive type changes make sense. The original g1 universe had no dark or steel type. No fairy type was around until we shifted into the gen 6 universe branch where it had always existed

I can’t remember if they made a big deal of fairy types in game for x and y, but even if they did, people had probably noticed weirdness with things they thought were normal types before that

Something cool I thought of: what if sawsbuck changed types based off of its form
Winter would be Grass/Ice
Summer would be Grass/Fire
Autumn would keep the og type so Grass/Normal
and Spring would be Grass/Fairy
This would also be implemented with a way to change forms, like never melt ice for winter form.

got some event shinies for some apriballs, including a shiny jirachi that legitimacy was uncertain, but i traded for anyway just out of curiosity to look into it. the ID and OT check out, as well as region it's from, but the event itself wasn't shiny, and looking at it in Home shows it joined 2 years after the event. if it wasn't shiny locked then i could see someone soft resetting until it was shiny, but then i couldn't see someone doing that on and off for 2 years just to trade it to the person i got it from.

also apparently shiny jirachi was a popular thing to powersave way back so that certainly doesn't help its case.
