Scarlet/Violet Spoiler||A fact about tandemaus and maushold is that if you do the math then their weights actually add up. By looking at the family of 3 form of maushold you can see that one little one weighs 500g. this is clarified by the fact that the family of four weighs exactly 500g more than the family of 3. Therefore, tandemaus should (and is) exactly 1 kilogram lighter than the family of four maushold (and 500g lighter than a family of 3). I did my strat 5 times, with the Dachsbun’s Charms, it lowers Iron Head damage to like 25 damage out of all of your health, add a healing item like Leftovers, and Dachsbun barely takes any damage

Plus with my strat, Cinderace won’t be able to put up its shield and instead like I said, IT GETS ONE SHOT

Dachsbun’s Charm harshly lowers ATK

Using three Charms on turn 1 will make Cinderace attack like a Scorbunny, weak and more like a tickle

Meanwhile the Sylveon uses Calm Mind for the first 2 turns

Dachsbun’s second turn uses Cheer ATK to help boost ATK power to the max stat

And turn 3, helping hand on Pixelated Hyper Beam breaks thru 100% of Cinderace’s Health, not even letting it put up a shield

Doing this strat is basically easy mode

@scarlet meadow Team Star is not the main one by any means for a few reasons.

1. They barely impede your progress at all. There is one team star base that blocks off a path which you can climb over.
2. The rewards are a badge, but the badge is their badge that denotes them as a leader. You taking it from them makes them no longer apart of team star. The true reward you get from beating them is a set of TMs and materials to make them. Arven also gives you badges alongside the upgrades to the mount.
3. In the overall narrative it impacts little. It gives detail to ||the school's problems with bullying and characterization for Penny and Clavell||. That's all it gives. It doesn't have any relevance to the rest of the game's plot. In comparison to Arven's, who without, endgame wouldn't be happening, as he's the one who gives you the mount and thus a connection to the professor. All of this has more impact that anything Team Star does.

The game has 18 badges by the way

5 from Team Star, 5 Arven gives you, and 8 from the gyms

You need all of them to get to endgame

The games plot structure is pretty Atypical for pokemon

It's more three stories that compile into one at the end

It's much more a character focused game than a plot one

Yes, you have to defeat 60 Pokémon to maximise outbreak Shiny odds. 🙂

And it stacks with Sparkling Power. I got a Revavroom (one of the best SV Shinies for sure) that way. 😄
