Espathra seems like more of a Flying-type to me than Dodrio, mostly because Flittle actually does fly whereas Doduo and Dodrio don't at any point. 😅

It has wings, they're just so small and it's not that good at flying, but it still can, thus the typing fits

Espathra on the other hand really does seem to be a flightless bird. The only other flightless bird pokemon I can think of is Galarian Zapdos, who is also not a flying type
